Dear Mr. Hughes and Co.
First of all, I would like to say THANK YOU, for so many years of reliable, trusted and loyal service to our family and friends here in Temecula. We cannot thank you enough for all that you have done for our family’s respiratory problems. Had it not been for your knowledge, professionalism, compassion and swift action, our family that was in a very fragile and crucial situation, medically speaking, could have had a different ending. Our physician was pretty certain that the problems with our respiratory issues would have been permanent. At the time my little one was only 4 years old. It was a very frightening time
We had a company out to perform work after we noticed the insulation from our brand new home in our air condition registers. They picked out the pieces and climbed around in our attic and inspected the system and supposedly cleaned our system. However we noticed the “pink fuzzies” as my daughter called them began showing up on her bedding. We called the company back and reported the problem, but they also said there would be a second charge to come and re-evaluate the work they just performed. HUH??? All I know is we were blessed to come upon your name by another friend and gave you a call. Though, I believe at the time you had no openings in this area, when your wife heard of our problems upon speaking with her, she was concerned about my little one, and said you would call by the end of the business day. We did get a phone call from you personally before the end of that workday. You asked me a few questions, and by the end of our phone conversation, you were suspect as to what may be the cause of our respiratory problems. You set an appointment to come our a day or two later, and asked me not to turn our system on at all.
After you and my husband went thru our attic, you pointed out one major and obvious problem that was probably causing our respiratory problems, and couldn’t figure out how it was even possible to be overlooked by the last company. Fiberglass was blowing throughout our home when we ran the cooling and heating system. We were inhaling that and other construction debris left around the attic. You also found one large tear and several small ones throughout the duct and hose in the system that should have been notice and repaired by the last company. You were so compassionate to our needs, after witnessing how people can be taken advantage of and how in some situation such as ours, could be a life or death situation if continuously ignored. What I was blown away with is how you were certainly not happy with the danger of what family was living with, but you never even said an ill word about the last company. You called your office and set us up for a complete system flush the next week and then proceeded to clean out the fiberglass in the registers before you left that day. You also went over everything of what and how your work is performed and the amount of hours and men that would come with you and what your service would cost for our size of home and what would be sanitized, removed and repaired.
Mr.. Hughes, I was expecting a few men to show up the next Monday to do the work, as to all the notes you made at our meeting. Instead, YOU showed up early and four men showed up at 7:00 am and began taping our carpets and tiles and covered areas, and most of all you took such care in my little girls room. These men all had a job to do, and I have to tell you, your team was like a fine tuned and well oiled machine and it was pretty smooth to watch you do your thing. They were very polite, careful in our home and was a pleasure to have them there not forgetting to mention a sigh of relief, finally getting the help we needed. It was an all day job and you were there the entire day with your men climbing into the attic, checking hoses, moving hoses and filters, finding the construction trash and debris and all that fiberglass that was stuck in our system that we were inhaling for a year, possibly even longer.
Mr. Hughes and team, I want to say THANK YOU FOR SAVING US! I just want other homeowners to know that even if your home is brand new, it does not guarantee you that your system is clean. I assumed my home was safe, but when you see what is left behind in your attic and tears in your cooling and heating system if workers are not conscientious of their work and what they leave behind be it food or drinks, that grow mold and spores without the homeowner even knowing is very dangerous and toxic to your health when you run your system unaware. As a homeowner of a brand new home, I would have never known, if it was not found by Mr. Hughes.
When we sold our home, we found out that the air duct flush was a selling feature, which the new owner was so thankful for as she suffers with allergies and has two little grandchildren of her own that visit her daily all day. After your system flush and sanitizing, we no longer had or have allergies. My daughter and I are both off of our inhalers, and all that steroids. You were a Godsend for sure! I know you gave us a break, when you didn’t have to. Your price for the hours and amount of labor you do is simply just not enough. Compared to what I spent on the first company that missed everything and really did nothing.
We are looking to purchase another home, and I know now that any home that we purchase being new or old, is sure to be cleaned by you before we move in. I will never forget the scary TRUELIFEMARE my family lived, and the man and his team that showed up to make it right and healthy for us. You are forever a part of our family and we have so much to be thankful for. God Bless you and keep you well for many years and may your business be blessed tenfold for all your honest and hard work and passion you put into it and the lives of complete strangers.
We look forward to seeing you again and using you for our next home. So until then, God Bless and be well!
